What is a Static IP Address? (Needed For IP-Based Access Only)

There are two types of IP addresses. Static and Dynamic. Static IP Address never changes, where as Dynamic IP Addresses can change. Static IPs are typically only included by default in business broadband contracts.

If you are not sure if you have a Static IP Address please contact your Internet Service Provider and they will be able to help you set this up or confirm whether you have one active already.

Please note that a Static IP Address is only needed for setting up Digi-Mags through Location-Based Access.
